Metal Warrior is a side-scrolling action-adventure for the Commodore 64 by Cadaver (Lasse Öörni) of Covert Bitops, first released in 1999 and polished through 2012. In a grim, polluted near future, novice metal guitarist Ian sets out to find who murdered his musician friend — and uncovers something much bigger. Explore an 8-way scrolling city, talk to its inhabitants, buy weapons and gear, and fight your way through a story told in cutscenes, all backed by a heavy metal soundtrack. Released by its author under the MIT license (cadaver.github.io).
